I just wanted to write and thank you for helping make my daughter's wedding so special. First of all, the dinner was delicious and served hot, which was a real plus. Secondly, your organization and professionalism was second to none. You and your staff did an excellent job with the table decorations, which was a feat in itself, and provided perfect service to our guests from beverages, appetizers, dinner and dessert.

You made the wedding a perfect event! : Much thanks to The Abbey. I had high expectations of the food being good because our pre-wedding tasting was so good. The wedding food seemed of the same quality which is really impressive when serving so many people. I would recommend coming up with some more appetizer options though. I thought the Abbey did a great job, they turned my low budget wedding into something that people thought cost double what we paid, which is always a great feeling. If I had a need for catering in the future I would use them again.  Much thanks to The Abbey.

When I first contacted The Abbey, I thought all the services you offered seemed too good to be true. In reality, you went well above and beyond what was promised, and you are the reason my friends and family are still raving about our perfect wedding! Finding you was like winning the Lottery!

When we purchased our complete wedding package from you, I didn't fully realize the exceptional value of the services we were getting. Not only was the food absolutely to die for, but each and every vendor you helped us choose far exceeded all of our exceptions. A man is measured by the company he keeps, and you certainly keep the company of some quality people.

DJ Neko had the party rocking from the start, and even the "old folks" were happy with his tasteful music choices! Flour Power's cake caused a big uproar, because it was so tasty that everybody tried t scramble to get seconds! I'll be back to James and Flour Power for my mom's birthday cake later this month.

When I contacted you on the 8th of January for a February 25th wedding, you weren't even fazed. You took the burden of planning an entire wedding in just 45 days off my shoulders and placed it on your own, giving me the opportunity to concentrate on my dress, the guest list, and the other time consuming and stressful details. From the moment I emailed you at THe Abbey, all my worries were over. We can't wait to have another occasion to use The Abbey's excellent services again!

Holy cow, The Abbey saved the day. They were great from beginning to end. We originally were working with a different caterer, had done the tasting and all that jazz. The food was good, but I wasn't "wowed" by it. So, about 6-8 weeks before the wedding we decided to change our idea all together. Our first caterer wasn't really responsive to it and we waited a week or so to hear back from them. My sister decided to call Abbey Catering with our idea of having a brunch for dinner and within one week we have a proposal, several revisions, and a final menu. The price was great, the people were fantastic and they were very professional. They are very familiar with the Bernardo Winery and it showed. They also provided great brunch food... waffles, omelette station, carved steak sandwhiches, OJ, coffee, fruit, etc. Everyone raved about the idea of brunch and they made it happen with the quality. Overall a stress-free experience the day of the wedding. I used the Abbey and worked out an all inclusive package (catering, photography, videography, rentals, coordination) which saved us a lot of time, planning, worry, and money. Photography by Deb Shields was amazing. The Abbey maintains a good network of vendors with which to partner for package deals. Check them out. They'll win you over at the tasting, make you want more with their accommodating pricing, and be friends for life after the wedding day.

One Word about The Abbey Catering & Event Design: FANTASTIC. We also used them for a complete all inclusive wedding package and I truly could not have done it any other way. Petr, our coordinator went above an beyond to make sure we were so taken care of through the entire planning process. We used DJ Randy and he was great. Elegant Events did our flowers and they were nothing short of breathtaking. Deb was our photographer and our pictures are beyond beautiful!!! Seriously, this was such a great deal for us as we saved time, money and so much of the typical stress that goes along with planning such a huge event. We used the money we saved and went to Japan! My daughter just got married at The Soledad Club in San Diego. The Abbey Catering provided us with a complete package including outstanding food & service, day of wedding coordination, bountiful florals, videographer (Tarek), photographer (Deb), DJ (Randy), scrumptious and beautiful cake (Baby Cakes) and a limosine (Escalade) that was over 40 ft! Everything from start to finish has been nothing short of outstanding. I was especially impressed with the cost! We saved over $10,000 with their all inclusive deal. I can't recommend them enough. Robert! Thank you so much for a wonderful wedding adventure. Everything was perfect and all my guests still rave about it being the best wedding! Brides, if you are looking for a professional catering and wedding design company to trust with your wedding, look no further. Not only was The Abbey's all inclusive wedding packagewas $10,000 below our budget (thanks Dad,) but they went beyond my expecations in every way! One thing I would recommend to brides is to take your coordinators advise and select your vendors as soon as possible. When we were selecting photographers, for example, our first choice was already committed on our date. However, our second choice, was available and she, Katy with Gemini Photography, was nothing short of a dream. The pictures are absolutely beautiful and I could not be happier! One more word to anyone with an all inclusive package, select the Maui condo. Wow, it is beyond amazing right on the best beach in Maui. Such a deal! We used our saved money for a down payment on a condo. Thanks Abbey Catering!

Petr was awesome!!!  He was very attentive, always available, and answered ALL of my MANY questions!  Jesika frequently stepped in, and she was also great to work with!  I was very happy with the food!  It all was just as I remembered from the complimentary tasting!  I LOVE the pear-shaped mashed potatoes…so unique and so yummy!!!  The beef Wellingtons and coconut shrimp were soooo good!! I felt confident that I would be in good hands on my wedding day…and I was right!  I was able to enjoy every minute of my wedding knowing that everything was being taken care of around me!  Thank you to the Abbey team and the other vendors for making it all possible!!! And many thanks for helping us the next day as well!  That was such a nice gesture and we are so appreciative!
